IAMX

I haven't encountered any great releases these last few days, so I'll post some "golden oldies" again. IAMX (Chris Corner) produces some very good music and these two remixes are my absolute favorites. The first track is remixed by Moonbootica and the second one was taken care of by Alexander Kowalski. Gooood!

Young, hot & crazy

I first encountered The Admirals Feat. Seraphina in november 2006, when they released their Maenner!-ep . I liked their vocals, but there wasn't a remix I particularly liked. On their new ep, called Young, hot & crazy, I did find a good remix. So here it is:

I Am Disco

I just wanted to post some random tracks today, but there's not much random about these because I ended up with two tracks by the same band. I've liked these songs ever since they were released in 2004. That's 4 good years.
Oh yeah, it's not because the song is called "I Am Disco" that it is a disco track, because it isn't, it's some magnificent Miss Kittin styled electro.

Soldout

Recently I posted one of their tracks in my sexually tainted top 10 where I also recommended their album Stop Talking, so I think it's only fair that I post it.
I'm also inspired to do this post because the band in question (Soldout) will be releasing a new album soon. At least that is what I read on their myspace. Looking forward to some more 1st class electro-rock.

Makes you feel strange

I'm not really a house-music lover, but I do feel an urge to post this track. People have been spreading a version of this track around the internet that was totally inferior in quality and shorter in length (2.31 min.). This upload is an actual beatport download (not by me). Start spreading this one instead of low-fi recordings. Oh yeah, it's a pretty good house-track.

Sin is just a city in your heart

I've been looking for this song for more than half a year now and I finally found it. It is a piece of art, with an uplifting beat and a nice piano-line. Eric D Clark is the guy that produced the commercial succes "From Disco To Disco", but after that it got pretty quiet around him. This is a very good one.
Ps: It is not related to the movie Sin City.

Gater

I already posted two tracks by Gater and this will probably be my last post dedicated to him, since he hasn't released anything since 2003. Anyway, it's a real pitty because I really love his style. I think I'll be doing a similar post (about a great electro-group that suddenly vanished) in the near future. Which one will it be? Wait and see.

Sexuality (top 10)

Alright, today I'm doing something special. I'm presenting my favourite sexually flavored electro-tracks. I selected around 15 songs, so 5 of them didn't make it to this elite-list. Be careful, because some of the lyrics are actually explicit. :)

Is this the best song on the list? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I just love it from the first second to the last one and I hope you do too. From the top 10, this is the only song that isn't in English and I don't think that is a coincidence. I just love woman (or rather girls) who sing in German with a sugar sweet voice. The Alter Ego remix is a little darker and more solid sounding, but I can't choose between the two versions. For those people who don't understand a little German, Spiel mit mir means Play with me.

2. DOWNLOAD mp3: gater - taboo
I already posted this song a while back, but it is so good that I can't avoid it. Gater only released 2 official ep's (in 2002 and 2003), but they were so damn good... This is truly electroclash at its best, some explicit lyrics, great beats and a such a great musical touch.

Nobody will deny that Peaches is the uncrowned queen of nastiness, this is such a cool track.

I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't love this one...

Unique track. Pretty dark, but I always enjoy it.

7. DOWNLOAD mp3: Soldout - I don't want to have sex with you
This Belgian band really deserves to be on my blog. I totally recommend their 2004 album Stop Talking. This is some smashing electro-rock.

Not much to say about this track, just a really nice track that gets lifted to another level by a gripping vocal.

9. DOWNLOAD mp3: client featuring carl barat - Pornography
Client really is a good band, this British electro-group has produced some real gems, this is one of them.

10.DOWNLOAD mp3: Robert M - porno house (original mix)
Very explicit lyrics for this electro-slammer, typical Robert M sound.

Boxon

I've been looking for this track for a while now, but after a few weeks I finally found it. Finding the original was a piece of cake, but the Eclier remix (I like it more) was really hard to find. I will also upload the original so you can decide for yourself wich one you like best.

Ludwig EP GONE

So yesterday I posted a track by Dillon and that same day I found the EP I was looking for. And it was worth the waiting. This EP is complex and experimental but it also totally works. If you're on the lookout for new talent, keep an eye on this girl. I'm glad to present: Dillon's Ludwig EP. Recommended.
