This is a very very good production. I have been following Maria Antonia Paula Schmidt (Chapeau Claque) for a few years now and she started out as a very promissing artist (as Zweiekkenkreis, together with Juli Holz) with a superb release on netlabel Politicide. Since then I have never seen that quality be matched. Untill now that is.
I'll start with a beautiful remix by Boon (who is a member of one of the best bands ever: Northern Lite), but I'll also post the original (which is so nice). As a bonus I'll add two tracks by her original band Zweiekkenkreis, be sure to check them out. Really nice stuff.

There are some problems with the files I uploaded to zshare in the past and that is why I will do this big upload. A very intriguing song, I don't know exactly what to say. Just listen to it and don't be scared off by it's initial strangeness. The first part is a little odd (...), the last part is very good.

Hot Chip remixed

This is a really relaxing song, good remix that is.
I've never been into this Hot Chip hype, because I think the guy sounds like somebody's squeezing his balls, but it doesn't really bother me in this remix. That's a good thing.

Posting about upcoming talent is always the coolest thing to do on a blog. Legoparty is a Belgian electro-pop band that produces some really cool tracks. There is no place like home for my soul

So everybody should know about now that I adore the early works by Markus Lange, but I only obtained this track recently because I had only found it in bad quality (recorded from bad source). Until now that is.
I am really proud to present this awesome Markus Lange remix from 2006. It is an absolute gem, the whole song just amazes me, from the beginning till the last 30 absolutely magnificent seconds (beautiful ending!)... Highly recommended.

This is some good electro-garage-house with a very catchy vocal, an up-beat song with a feel-good rhythm. Edit: I already did this post around mid June, but I recently discovered a much cleaner and completer version of this track and I still think it's a song with some potential. So that's why I do a repost with this new and better (in quality and length) version. Enjoy

Aux Raus

Aux Raus is just another band that produced a track that I fancy a little. So that's probably why I post it here, though I must warn you that the song is a bit strange... The sound reminds me (just a little) of the Neue Deutsche Welle and if you don't know what that is, it's time to look it up.

I guess some people have been waiting for this album to be released, so I'll post it as a whole. I am a little disappointed though. The album mostly consists of his best works from the past which were just recycled on this album. So I can't say there are a lot of new discoveries on it for me. But some of these songs are (as they already were) classics. I will still post one fresh track from the album, it's an ok song.

As everybody should know, Vitalic is one of the most gifted artist on the scene and his label Citizen Records is one of the best labels around. That's why today I'll dedicate this post to an artist that has already had a release on Citizen, I'm talking about Sad Mafioso. Someone like me

I've always loved Tjark's music, he is one of the few musicians around that knows how to use a few notes and combine them in perfect, flawless harmony. This is a fresh unreleased track by this guy and I'm totally loving it. Although it might sound a little monotonous to some of you, I hope there will be others that like it as much as I do. I've only been posting older work by Markus Lange, that is because like his older releases best. But because I think he still produces good stuff, I'll post a brand new track of his. It's a well crafted song.

Breaking It Up

Lykke Li is cool and I like Lykki Li's music, so I'll do a post on her.
But as you probably know, Lykke Li is one of the most hyped artists on the web and I think it is only partially deserved (there are much better musicians around, take a look on this blog for instance). So because everybody already posted her new single "Breaking It Up", I'll have to post a remix to be even remotely original. And this is a pretty decent one.

Raubfisch Rec.

Finding new releases this week doesn't seem to be a problem at all (I've got a lot more cool stuff coming soon!). Even better: these two cool tracks are unreleased. The release is scheduled for 1 September (on fresh label: Raubfisch), but that won't stop me from releasing them today. First one is a very nice vocal electro number and the second one is a massive remix that is at least as good.
I'll add another remix by the same guys (also unreleased I guess) which I'm not so fond of, but it's still nice.

Although it is difficult to say, I think this is one of my favorite songs of the year. I have been trying to obtain it for a few weeks now and finally I have been successful! Atzepeng

This is a pretty good example of how a simple melody can surprise me in it's greatness. It is both subtle and striking. And that's about all I've got to report.

Dragonette

Although this is something that I should have done a long time ago, I'm going to post this content anyway. Dragonette was just one of those bands that I heard for just one second and fell in love with the next. It is some superb electro pop with a sweet (and sometimes nasty) undertone.
